What you must know about this Job

In order to strengthen the ties to all important participants in the ecosystem and to further grow our business interactions and strategic collaborations, we are searching for a dedicated working student to join our Platform team.
In your everyday job, you will concentrate on helping our Head of Platform with the creation of strategic alliances, the organizing of events, or the growth of the network platform while also making a significant contribution to a wide range of other initiatives.
You will interact with all stakeholders as a member of the Platform team, including the Investment team, the community of portfolio founders, the Operational team, the Investor Relations team, and particularly the Extended Innovation ecosystem. You will work on all pertinent aspects of a value-adding VC to quickly respond to competitive funding rounds or to assist portfolio founders in scaling their businesses by creating commercial opportunities.

What you will be doing

  • Encourage the formation of new strategic alliances and strengthen the bonds between our current alliances
  • Plan events actively, working with external partners and service providers from idea to guest list management and event execution.
  • Work closely with the founders on issues relating to corporate relations and sales
  • Develop new commercial prospects for the portfolio and confirm possible new clients against the portfolio firms' histories.
  • Create material for platform communication and prepare presentations.

A profile of you

  • Excellent communication skills; you don't hesitate to speak with partners or clients
  • Passion for planning and organizing events, and at the very least, first professional expertise in event management
  • Familiarity with the most prevalent tools, as well as autonomous project creation and implementation
  • Fluent in both German and English, enrolled in a college or university studying media, communication, or a related discipline, and seeking professional experience
Please be aware that the Berlin office is in need of assistance. Additionally essential is the ability to work in the EU.
